Well the smell from the crap has begun against Nashville... now we may see the colour tonite.

I certainly hope Molson puts their pants on and takes a real good look at management and development for this team as it's synonomous with "LACK"

I can't believe people will rain big dollars on a 36-year-old Hamrlik, but then again, nothing surprises me from NHL GMs.

Didn't Bob just give a 35 year old almost 4 million$ for 3 years???

Crap will happen if they lose Carolina.

Agreed. The shit will hit the fan if they lose against the worst team in the league!!

I agree with the moves he pulled off last year, i'm not really bashing the guy. I just think playoffs won't happen this year for numerous reasons, no sense in waiting around, trade some assests, problems or underachievers and get younger with more picks.

I mean much worse will the team be. 2 regulation wins in 20 games?

With the way the league is today you really can coast through the season slightly above .500 and still have a realistic shot at the playoffs. You really only need a strong PP and good goaltending. Every NHL team is gonna win 20 and lose 20, it's what you do with the 40 in the middle that separates everyone. So you win a bunch of OT/shootouts you probably should've lost, and lose a bunch in OT that you at least hung around for the point, and suddenly you are knocking on the door.

This team is remarkably good at scraping out a point even when they shouldn't, so if the PP ever comes around and Carey continues his recent streak of solid play, this could turn around by season's end.

Somebody is trying to bump off our captain. First, it was going to be Markov but then sliced his ligament, and now they've nailed Gionta with a leg shot. Cammalleri will get injured next.

Don't forget Gill. That's all our 3 season starting assistant captains that are out with injury.
