Jaroslav Halak Made History

BTW, I cranked the way-back-then machine and found this from 4 years ago:

I've got to see Halak in the Q and he's going to overachieve. There's still lot to work on technically, but he's athletic and competitive. Watching him steal games for the scrappy bunch of Lewiston last season gave me flashbacks of Hasek in Buffalo years ago. And indeed I'm scared that Halak turns into a Hasek-Vokoun-Kipprusoff type of goalie. I wouldn't be surprised if Halak became to Price what Hasek became to Belfour, Vokoun to Theodore and Kiprussoff to Nabokov.

If only AK46 had filled his promises the same way...

I would have used the glove save from Game 6. By far his best of the series.

At first I thought the same. There's plenty to chose from. That pad save, coming in Game 7 when it was just 1-0 probably weights more in History than the glove save.

Wow...you deserve some sort of retroactive amateur scouting award for that analysis! Well done.
