saskhab
Jesus... how does Neil already have that many PIMs? The Sens have the 3rd and 4th highest PIM guys in the league... Carkner is 4th. Neil has 4 misconducts, 1 game misconduct, and 8 fighting majors. He must have a few instigators as well. He's tied for 7th in the league in minor penalties. Wonder if he's drawing them like he used to.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I dunno, I have a good feeling about this one. I think the young bloods are going to add some enthusiasm and that the team will hunker down and play hard as a response to all the injuries. That's often the pattern, after all - injuries usually start to tell after a certain span of games. So, count me as optimistic for tonight. I don't how much Ottawa has left in their tank, but I expect them to come out CRUSTY. We are facing a wounded animal. It could be ugly. Hopefully we cruise without any casualties but I wouldn't count on it.
dlbalr
The Sens got spanked yesterday and it got ugly at the end. They'll either come out guns-a-blazing or listless. I'm hoping for the latter but expect the former.
Easy Ryder
The one that i am surprise to see as line up possibility to play tonight is MaxPac he looked like Wiz lethal shot went thought his foreharm, broke two ribs to go inside, perforate the spleen and went down his legs, leaving doctor Mulder no choice to open his leg to take the puck out. Far from a pain freak, Gorges, Ciccarelli or any rugby player. This is the POWER forward that you talk about ? Maybe tall, fast and average strong but in no way a tough nail. dlbalr
With Kovalev (injury) and Regin (scratch) both set to return, I've no idea what Ottawa's lines are going to look like, so expect the real ones to be different than what I've guessed in the first post. dlbalr
RDS (via Twitter) reporting that Pacioretty will play tonight, as will Engqvist. It will be the coaches' decision as to whether White replaces Pyatt or is a healthy scratch.
Easy Ryder
I would rather play Philly or Boston. The Senators and the Leafs are dangerous. You say you would rather meet Philly with all the Hamilton call ups, take it as an exhibition game. Relax, chill out, we have lots of time. We're not winning the Stanley Cup on the first exhibition game.
JGC21
I've been waiting impatiently all year for White to be called up. He's gotta play! He'll be a lot more energized and have more presence than Pyatt.

He'll be a lot more energized and have more presence than Pyatt. I wouldn't count on it. As of a couple hours ago, the belief was that Pyatt will be in and White, who was called up in case Pacioretty couldn't go, sits. At any rate, he won't be up long, he'll be sent back to Hamilton on Wednesday most likely.
Athlétique.Canadien
Pyatt scratched. White is dressed tonight as per CJAD 1-0 Habs. Pouliot Edited January 22, 2011 by Athlétique.Canadien

brobin
amazing, a two goal lead seems to be a signal to the habs to stop playing.. even 4 minutes into a game...
Athlétique.Canadien
White looks like an AHLer out there. Go figure Hopefully he gets going in the 2nd. I guess there's always that little adjustment period to overcome
dlbalr
2-1 good guys after 1, decent start but for some reason they sat back. A quick start to the 2nd for Montreal would go a long way.

Athlétique.Canadien
Something has got to give with Clouston or Murray. Over the last 3 loses by Ottawa I figured I'd hit refresh on TSN or some other site and hear about the axe but still nothing. How long??? Could tonight be it if they drop this one? Habsfan84
They came back and got a 2 goal lead by Gionta making it 3-1. Helpers go to Max Pax and Gomez Edited January 22, 2011 by Habsfan84
