You have to go back to last year, when the Habs came back from 3-0 to win it 4-3 in the shootout:

Should be a fun night tonight. Go Habs Go!!!

No real shocker, Koivu's in the starting lineup for Anaheim, Price gets the start.

I'm looking forward to this game, as I wanted Saku to finish his career here.

There are not many players who have spent their entire careers with one team.

Ya, I figured that out. It's just my opinion, based on more than the game of hockey. Not about wins and losses, not about meaningless stats.

There are not many players who have spent their entire careers with one team.

In "modern hockey" some of them come to mind.

Ironicaly (is that a word?), we got some pairs of players from the same team. Joe Sakic did it and Milan Hejduk is on pace. Same for Holmstrom and Niklas Lidstrom, who will most likely retire as a Wings, already 18 seasons with them.

With 17 seasons under his belt, I could see Brodeur retire instead of moving. I don't think he really needs more money...

Everyday bring new rumors who send Jarome Iginla or Patrick Marleau elsewhere...

That left Chris Phillips, Daniel Alfredsson (another pair) and Shane Doan as well as Pat Elias.

Who else ? Andrei Markov... maybe...

Brodeur will definitely retire with NJ instead of moving.

There's NO CRYING in Hockey (to steal Mr. Hank's line) but a few tears will be shed tonight, and yes a few will be from me.

Good start to the game by our boys! Let's keep it up. I hope Saku scors a Hat trick and the Habs win 4-3!!

Nothing like a soft call to get a team a lead... Funny, they ignored several real penalties earlier.

Regardless of Saku's return, the (Mighty) Ducks have always been a thorn in our side in Montreal. I`m having bad memories of Ron Wilson on the bench during the Kariya era (insert puke emoticon here)

Matt Beleskey is the boyfriend of my Admin Asst.'s daughter, and an ex-team mate of subbans from Belleville. I sure hope we win so I can rub it in to her on Monday. :)

Well, this is all but over. They had to kill that penalty to have a chance in the third.. I don't see the Ducks sitting back in the third.

I love it when the Habs make us eat crow! I was about to say the same thing as you when the 2nd period ended, but I decided to wait a little!

End of 2nd I told my son Capt Smurf would take a dumb penalty and we would win in shoot out. Half right. Nice seeing him back at home. The penalty box of the Bell Center.

Exactly what i was thinking when he tied it up.

Sure playing with confidence and using his speed and big body very well.
