Hope the Habs keep up the great defensive play and get another early lead.

If we can notch a second win tonight, reenforcing doubt in the Bruins fragile meathead psyche, it'll be a fun return to the Bell Centre Monday.

And while it would be an incredible long shot, the ultimate irony would be a Habs sweep in 4.

3-1 Habs

No need to say anything Joe. Dancing banana says it all.

Da Habs

I just can not believe how this team manages to pull on my heart strings.

Da Habs

We need to steal this second game... and nothing would be better than Eller and Pouliot pulling their proverbial heads out of their own @$$es by playing some desperate 'ockey. GOOOOOOOOOO!

I think what I want to see early is Ryan White fight somebody. Just to send the message that we're not going to be messed with.

And if the Habs could score first... big game from the Eller line... C"MON!!!!

No way. That could just play into the Broon's game plan. What I want to see early is one Montreal goal followed by another one....followed by the team continuing to frustrate their opponents.

Your other two ideas I completely agree with .

GO HABS GO

Game starts at 2am here and in Qatar Sunday is a workday...oh well

Chara questionable after being hospitalized last night due to dehydration. He plans to try to play but I'd suspect a lot would have to do with if he's feeling better between now and game time.

That is one player Id be happy to be without. Could mean the world to us.

Wow, Plekanec did exhausted him finally at the end of the 3rd in that wrestling match! Plekanec seemed like the victim on the ice, but he was the one causing Chara to wrestle, bent in half, and losing all his energy.

This game is huge. Game One is always the least important (although the Habs really got as much out of a Game One win as you possibly can, sending the entire city of Boston scurrying for anti-depressants and clearly exposing the Bruins's limitations). If we win tonight, the series is not "over" but the odds skew just massively in the Habs's favour and the Bruins stand in grave danger of falling apart under the weight of their own neuroses.

As others have said, the Bruins understand exactly what is on the line tonight and will bring EVERYTHING they've got. I've been a little nervous, not about the habs, but about what seems to be excessive confidence among Habs fans - it feels like bad karma - but then again this savvy and battle-scarred team doesn't seem to give a sh*t about that stuff. They've got a job to do.

Hope ak46 is ok, and also wanna see halpern in the lineup, but not rushed, either way go Habs go.

Now the report (lots of changing reports today) is that Halpern will not be able to play no matter what. So if Kostitsyn can't go, Weber moves back to the wing where he played the final two games of the season.

Gotta like Cammy interview today (rough translation by myself) :

It is really important to stay hydrated between games, I once suffered from dehydration and it was not fun at all. But, as opposed to Mark Recchi, I'm not a doctor so I won't try to diagnose the other team..."

You're nervous that Habs fans are feeling confident that their team will win? What are they supposed to be feeling?

Bad karma is Chara running Patches, not the hopes of an enthusiastic fan base.

Even if the Bruins bring EVERYTHING they've got ( funny that they couldn't bring it to an important game 1 ) that's fine, the Habs can deal with it, they know what they need to do. They did it Thursday and I'll bet they can do it again tonight.

Hey, I'm not trying to say this is a rational feeling. It's playoff paranoia. Really, it'd only be an issue if the players themselves were in danger of contracting the same attitude, which I doubt is true of this veteran bunch.

:1banana: thats for you joe!

PMAC you rock baby... :1gohabs:

I so want to make a prediction tonight... but I really don't want to push my luck.

So this one is in the hands of the Habs. Make it happen boys!

GO HABS GO!
