Guess, gotta pull for Owen Sound and London to go as far as possible now.

Can Bitten help the IceCaps...or is season simply a lost cause?

London lines up with Erie which is a tough matchup for them.  If they do prevail and Owen Sound gets by the Soo, they'll face off against each other in Round 3.

He could join the Ice Caps.  Not sure how ready he is for AHL though.

At the very least, it would make sense to sign him to an ATO and at least have him skate with the team and work with the coaches.  Given the status of their fourth line though, I think he could represent an upgrade.

Can Jake Evans play AHL, if done school for the summer?

If he signs a contract he can play.

Once he signs a contract he can't go back to school next year though.

Bourque 1a 3-3 in 3rd, up 2-0 in series

Juulsen down 2-0 in the series?

Bradley game is on Shaw TV (out west) 1-1 in that series

McNivan up 2-1 in 3rd period, down 2-1 in series

Mete 1a, losing 2-1 in 3rd, 1-1 in the series

Everett struggled to get through the first round as well.  Their early issues have been quite surprising, especially considering they're built like a playoff team - lots of attention to detail defensively, tight checking, top goaltending.

And Everett now down 3-0, never thought Juulsen might be 1st recruit for IceCaps?

Tigers and Knight also lost

McNivan wins to tie series 2-2 and Bourque's SeaDogs win in OT and one game from 2nd sweep.

Everett's next game is Friday so they wouldn't be able to get him to St. John's until the playoffs were to start at the earliest...if the IceCaps make the postseason.  (There are two huge games on the out of town scoreboard tonight that will play a big role in whether or not they make it too.)

After Juulsen's team was ousted this week, two others are on the verge of elimination tonight:

Mete (London) trails Erie 3-2.

Bradley (Medicine Hat) trails Lethbridge 3-2.

On the other side, McNiven and Owen Sound can pull off the series victory tonight as they host Sault Ste. Marie in Game 6.  He quietly is putting up even better numbers in the playoffs (2.11 GAA, .926 SV%) than in the regular season (2.30 GAA, .915 SV%).

McNiven pulls off a shutout for a 1-0 victory in Game 6 to send Owen Sound to the West Finals.  London won 2-1 in OT to send it to Game 7 in Erie on Tuesday.  Mete had an assist on the PP to give him 7 points in 13 games this postseason.

Got a guess on Bradley's future with Habs?

Strange to send him to Montreal.

Got a guess on Bradley's future with Habs? Get a contract offer?

I'm leaning more and more by the day to the thought that he won't be signed.  His point total isn't that great for a draft + 2 player and he was on a pretty deep team.

OK thanks, I guess is similar to Brady Vail I suppose.

I'd call them very similar situations, even going back as far as being cut after rookie camp in the past.  Once Addison signed, that dropped the odds of Bradley signing.  It's notable that he's not (yet) joining St. John's either although that could be injury related.
