Schlemko is joining the team for the road trip. I thought he'd do another conditioning stint, but it looks like he's being thrown right in.

It was only his first real practice with the team today (at least I think it was) so I'm not sure he's actually game ready.  He may just be going to keep skating with the team.

I thought he was having practices with the team at the end of last week... or was that just skating before practice?

I know he was skating before but I'm not sure it was with the team.  Mind you, I wasn't keeping a close eye on when he was skating either so I could easily be wrong here.

His injury was significant when it happened.  Surgery happened.

The original timeline had him out until mid-December so he's still probably a couple of weeks away at least.

Thanks guys :)

Drouin did not make the trip to Detroit. Lower body injury, day-to-day.

Carr was recalled last night.

Carr was recalled for Froese. Not sure who's taking Drouins spot

Drouin will not play tomorrow but might play Thursday.

Lehkonen is being mentioned as "close to returning" which is a change from his previous status of "We do not talk about our injured players."

No reporter seems to remember to ask about Hemsky.
