I'm going to be stuck at work, so I'll be missing this one. I hope the Habs come out hungry, and aren't overconfident because of Pittsburgh's depleted lineup.

GO HABS GO!!!!

GO HABS GO!!!!

If we are overconfident because they have a depleted lineup wouldn't that make us hypocrites?

Same here. That sucks. Definitely gonna listen to it on the radio though.

hahahaha. Yes but I mean.... Losing Malkin, Crosby and possibly Neal hurts much more than Markov, White and Spacek...

If memory serves, Cammy has a poor track record when returning from injury, so I wouldn't hope for too much from that quarter. At the same time, that the opposition is likely to key on him (along with Pleks and Subban) should open up new opportunities for our secondary scorers, so he'll still help...just don't expect a big night from him. Heck, in the past its taken him a long time to get untracked in these circumstances.

Indeed, he has a poor record when returning from injury, but it is usually a 2-3 months break while tonight, it is just 11 days...

GO CAMMY GO, GO HABS GO

Great news. Cammy will help. Palushaj should have played though. If it had been my decision, Engqvist would be out. Well, I won't make a fuss for a 4th line player who won't play 10 minutes anyway...

If we play with the same effort we put in against the Sabers we win. Let up for awhile, we lose. 60 minutes of hockey please. Been quietly enjoying our losses so far this season/preseason. So much of what I have seen i liked so the losses meant nothing to me. So now I am posting as after the last game I think our season is finally beginning. We can put in a full game and very few teams can match us line for line. We will win alot of games this year.

Go Habs Go!

I'm calling a big win for the Habs tonight and am looking forward to watching Cammy with Plekanec and Cole. That should be an excellent line. Also the third line of Gomez, Gionta and Eller (ya, that's the third line) should be much improved. Moen was great as a stop-gap and all, but Eller looks real good so far this season and should add some needed life to that line.

If the Plekanec line can get rolling tonight, watch out...because the Desharnais line is already looking like one of the most dangerous we've seen in a long time.

It kind of reminds me of Lucic, Krejci and Horton. Krejci has the two big wingers that create space for him to work his magic. Ditto for Desharnais...

All I can say is they better win. So far they are not impressing and if they can't beat this lineup from Pitts it is time to hit the panic button, imo.

Cammy coming back should be a good boost, but we a lot of guys to step up their game. I am tired of the injury excuse. We haven't exactly been playing the top teams in the league.
