dlbalr
1-0 Hamilton in a bit of a defensive tilt. Avtsin with the PPG for Hamilton.
dlbalr
Lake Erie got a late PPG in the 2nd and the only goal in the shootout as they take this one 2-1. Interestingly enough, despite not scoring, Willsie was named first star. The point was enough to once again take them solely out of dead last in the conference - they're in a 3 way tie now. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1009029
Commandant
Dumont got a penalty shot in the third and couldn't score. Then Palushaj, Masse, DeSimone, Stafford, and Willsie went 0/5 in the shootout. ouch.
BlueKross
Has Desimone earned a contract for next year?
dlbalr
Has Desimone earned a contract for next year? In my books, he has. Is he a future NHL'er? Probably not but he could still be a solid AHL piece that every team needs, capable of playing the odd game as a callup if/when (likely the latter) injuries arise. Commandant
I agree, he's been Hamiltons best center this season.

Course we could just have another DD who comes up later to the nhl Maybe he is our #2 center of the future
Commandant
He's not as good as desharnais was as a rookie. Dd was also younger
