Did I read that right....puck drop is at 8:30 pm??

Either way, this should be one hell of a game tonight! The Bruins will be pissed after getting shut out last night and the Habs, well, have no choice but to win.

Should be a barnburner!

8:30 PM AST which is 7:30 PM EST.

So is Chara the toughest great player of all time? What I mean is an elite hockey player who is a great fighter. I can't think of anyone else. Robinson and Gordie Howe are a few, but really who out there could beat up every goon and still contend as the best in their position every year?

Robinson was the toughest he creamed dave the Hammer

Howe would go with anyone\

So would Bobby Hull

or the Rocket

That said Chara is the best modern era guy.

Scouting alert: John Ferguson Jr. (yes, the former Leaf GM) is at this game representing the Sharks. He also attended the game last week against the Islanders. The Kings also have a pair of scouts present. In total, there are 9 scouts present (the other teams are Anaheim, Phoenix, Vancouver, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Tampa Bay). 6/8 teams are Western scouts, not sure anything really can be gleaned from that though.

I'm not sure Chara would qualify a "tough." Most fights I saw of him he throws a punch, maybe 2, then tries to tackle the other guy. If your looking for skilled and tough, I would look at Iginla and Pronger.

Emelin is awesome

Yep and the bruins are their usual whiners. Clean hit and they go chasing after and yelling at Emelin.

I can't stop laughing at Thorton when he was hit by Emelin. If you didn't know any better, it looked like the worse death scene from a movie. Tossed hit head back and arms up, spun around and fell to the ice like he was dead, only to pop right back up with nothing wrong with him 5 seconds later.

Something tells me there will be blood tonight. It's been waaaay to quiet between these two this year.

Bold prediction: Rene Bourque KO's Milan..
