Matt O'Connor starts in goal for Ottawa instead of Anderson. It will be a battle of goalies making their NHL debuts. Both were undrafted college free agents as well if you're looking for more similarities.

Rumblings are that the match penalty to Mitchell has been/will be rescinded meaning he'll be available. Assuming Byron plays (and considering he's an Ottawa native, it might be a nice spot for his debut), it'll be interesting to see who comes out.

I think we are going to get slapped around physically tonight

It'll be an interesting test of our complete purging of any 'fighting' element to our game. (Weise can drop 'em, but he's no 'fighter').

Habs v.s. 'annoying bee' tonight, eh, Machine? ;) I hope we win, I suspect we'll lose.

Sens always play the Habs well. Would have liked to see the rookie in last night and Price in tonight. But what the heck, back up against back up. Max line due for a big game. Two empty netters and a gift from Bernier look good on the stats sheet but they need to be better. Chuck looking great at center. Markov 24 minutes , Nate 14 against Bruins. Like to see that gap close.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe he doesn't want anyone from the winning lineup to feel like they're the lowest on the depth chart? I don't know, just spit balling. The other possibilities are that Therrien wants him to get a few more practices in, or he actually did have a minor injury he's been dealing with.

I think we'll do alright tonight with Anderson out of the lineup. No lead is safe against Ottawa though and vice versa so hopefully we keep the pedal to the metal for a full 60 minutes.

I want to see the end of the commercial where Miss Woods gives her an F.

Miss Woods: This is a science fair, not philosophy fair. Better luck next time.

Hahaha laughing hard at this because I completely agree. THAT would make me like a product! Not enough humour

LOL Agreed. Does anyone not find that commercial annoying?

Pleks starts the year hot again.... Hope he doesn't go cold again like last year.

I can't stand that Scotia bank "fifth season" ad with the Whiney teen.... I weep at the thought they are going to play it 5 times a game again this year....

Their other ones aren't any better unfortunately.

Nice period from the road team. They wanted to pressure O'Connor early and did just that. Plekanec is having a nice night, even if that first goal was a gift.
