Oct. 28/29, Rochester vs St. John's, 6 PM

After a lengthy road trip to start the season, the IceCaps (2-3-1) return for their home opener against division rival Rochester (3-2-0).  Jacob de la Rose won't be available this weekend with a fractured finger while Max Friberg (undisclosed injury) is questionable.  I'm assuming Carr will be available after being sent down but a lot of that depends on whether or not he was notified last night in the hopes of catching an early enough flight.

It depends - if St. John's gets a junior team eventually when the Habs leave but keep the IceCaps name, then yes, there's a shot that they'll one day get a new coach.  Since they keep bringing Lefebvre back despite struggling annually, it's getting harder and harder to envision the scenario that ultimately leads to his departure.

With exact same lineup and a different coach what do you expect will happen? Instant playoff team & better development of the kids?

Matteau (from McCarron) EN goal and another win.:1banana:

Even Brady Vail & Mac Bennett couldn't turn the tide.

Nice to see they came back from 2-0 and 3-2 down.

MacMillan with couple assists and nice to see Scherbak get one, Hudon had late breakaway but could bury it.

They said Lindgren keep them in the game in the 1st, even giving up 2.
