hockeybabble
Alexander Barkov has not had a great start to the season, nor have the Florida Panthers. I think if Huberdeau was playing Barkov would be producing consistently. I am hesitant in dropping him as he tends to heat up in the second half of the season. But currently he is doing nothing for my team. Should I keep Barkov or try to trade him or just drop him?
dlbalr
What type of league is it? How many teams, how many players per team, etc? On the surface, I think you'd be wise to hold on to him but who are some of the players available in free agency?
hockeybabble
head-to-head, fan pts based, 14 teams......free agency seems a little thin right now....some names that pop up are Kyle Turris, Loui Eriksson, Vincent Trocheck, Adam Henrique
dlbalr
That's a pretty good crop of free agents, actually. I don't think any of those are head and shoulders better than Barkov at the moment and I'd expect him to outproduce those guys the rest of the way as well. I'd hold on to Barkov despite his early struggles.
JoeLassister
I would hold on to him too. He just started to produce again AND you definitely want him around once Huberdeau will be back, even though it's not happening anytime soon.
