Chris
Haven't seen a lot games lately, this one has all the makings of a blowout. Columbus is steam rolling teams right now
dlbalr
While we wait for puck drop, I'll work on Therrien's pre-game speech: "We're banged up on defence and up front. They're the hottest team in the league over the last six weeks. We're on the road with a backup goalie. Alright, we've got them right where we want them. Okay, c'mon, let's go." Sam Pollock lives!! EDIT: I wonder how motivated the Habs will be to "win for Al" after that 10-0 abortion earlier in the year? We're about to find out. dlbalr
I'm not sure where Radulov's head is tonight. It's not in Columbus, that's for sure. That was a horrible period from him.
dlbalr
Aside from allowing the early goal, that was a pretty good period from the Habs. They're struggling containing players in the defensive zone but they've done a decent job of keeping it out of there altogether.
sbhatt
A respectable effort against the hottest team in the league from our depleted squad...who are having zero puck luck thus far.

Adequate defensive play doesn't matter much when your offensive play is nonexistent. I'm bored to death watching this game.
JCPetit
Without Carey Price, this team doesn't generate much offence. It simply takes too long to get the puck out of the zone. And let's face it, Weber is a good defenseman, but he does not have the ability to change the game all by himself. We had that kind of guy; unfortunately, he now plays in Nashville. Trizzak
Petry's got the magic touch
JCPetit
A bit lucky, but the Habs will take anything that comes their way...
Commandant
We all knew that the team had to play 500 hockey until they got the injured guys back. They are doing that. They played well enough tonight... Bob was too good, and it is what it is. They are gonna have games they score (Anaheim) and games they don't (tonight) until we can get the forwards back.
Scott462
Honestly I thought we were the better team tonight, which is funny with our back-up and depleted line up. We didn't get any bounces and just a bit unlucky. Overall I thought we had some good efforts against the two hottest teams in the league. I'm sure this will just make the team stronger. The effort is there... the guys are committed to playing the system and the system is working, and its even generating offensive chances. We are missing the pure talent needed to finish those chances though. Give a guy like Galchenyuk the same chances as Danault, give a Shaw the chances of Chris Terry, move everyone down a slot and let Danault play against 3rd pairing D instead of top pairs. Etc.... and you are gonna finish more. We need to stay 500 til the forwards come back and at some point we need to find another C
Neech
Great third period, but not enough scoring touch in a lineup with Danault at 1C. It's amazing how much Plekanec looks like a defensive plug now - how did he ever score so much for us? I wish Therrien would put Lehkonen out there at the end of games, he's been one of our best forwards the last couple of weeks!
dlbalr
After the game, Andrighetto and Hanley were sent back to St. John's.
