dlbalr
After more than a week off, the IceCaps (14-12-3) continue their four week road trip with a stop in Toronto to take on the Marlies (13-12-2). dlbalr
Here's the lineup (no Scherbak or Andrighetto, the latter's non-presence being a tad intriguing):
dlbalr
Stefan Matteau is a late scratch so Philip Samuelsson will dress as the 7th D again. (On paper, he should be their #1 but he's a card-carrying member of Lefebvre's doghouse...)
dlbalr
Scoreless after 1. Shots are 10-3 for Toronto which shouldn't come as much of a surprising given how awful that lineup looks...
dlbalr
Audette gets the IceCaps on the board, Friberg and de la Rose with the assists.

dlbalr
Halfway through the 3rd, it's now 2-1. St. John's has a whopping one shot so far this period. On the surprising scratches today, Matteau isn't 100% but tried to give it a go in the warmup. It sounds like Andrighetto is a healthy scratch. They're resting the guy who has been a healthy scratch so that he'll be healthy while being scratched this week. How about maybe playing the guy to work off the rust? (Side note, Andrighetto will need to go through waivers to go back down later this week...)
dlbalr
The IceCaps hold on to win 2-1. They were absolutely terrible in the 3rd period and Lindgren saved them. http://theahl.com/game-summary?game_id=1016329
