Farnham?

I could spin that two ways.  One, I didn't see it when I copy/pasted the lines from yesterday's GDT.  Two, I have a hunch he'll play after Carr didn't exactly impress last night.

A Farnham-based hunch seems dubious, especially one in his favour.

I don't like it either but somehow he seems to be ahead of Terry in the pecking order and although the Habs don't often change their lineup after a win, I think the coaches were expecting more from Carr after benching him previously.  Those two points could result in Farnham unfortunately returning to the lineup.

Tonight's game is gonna be a tough one! I really hope the boys are gonna show up to play tonight!

Would be nice to score 4 or 5 goals on Dubnyk!

Makes you wonder what could have happened if Dubnyk got the call, when Price went down against New York.

Dubnyk was awful that season.

he needed to go home and find his game.  He also needed to work with Sean Burke to improve.

I don't think he would have played well at the time.  His technique was off and his confidence was shot.  Kudos to him for rebuilding both.

:1gohabs::clap::gohabsgo: What exactly is a Wild. I hope we go wild and score 6 or 7. There is absolutely no need for close games. Blowouts of the other team are perfectly acceptable. Go forth and score little ones.

By the way, it's nice to see Redmond back in and Johnston in the press box.  In a back to back, they can't afford to have one of their blueliners under 10 minutes - they should be able to get a bit more than that from Redmond.

2-0 Wild. Not the kind of start we were hoping for...

I've got a bad feeling that it's already GAME OVER!!! I really hope i'm wrong!

What a signing Eric Staal has been for the Wild (three-year, $10.5 million). He now has 37 points on the year in this his 40th game. Quite a bargain.

Well that game got out of hand quickly. Not likely to get four past Dubnyk.

Hmm... goals were a deflection 2 feet in front of him; giving a breakaway to the other team's best player; and letting their player walk down the slot and past four habs.  Seems to me all three are what most teams call hanging a goalie out to dry.

Don't feel too bad for him...it's not like all 3 were goals were of the "impossible to save" variety.

All but the third goal he could have stopped or should I say should have.

Cmon Price man what's going on with you?

When he's playing his best hockey, he saves at least one of those.  As for that 4th one...again, yes, crap D by his team...but that's a puck he normally stops when he's 'on'.  The team certainly isn't helping any though, that's for sure; soft D zone play and can't score tonight.
