Guest Stogey24
Redmond placed on waivers. It was pretty much only a matter of time since the Nesterov trade
dlbalr
I wouldn't be shocked if he gets claimed. His cap hit next year is below the league minimum; there are some cap-strapped teams that would benefit from that. I hope he clears though, it'd be nice to have a bit more depth in the minors to call upon.
TheDriveFor25
Too bad.. I had high hopes for Redmond. I'm guessing he gets claimed..
xXx..CK..xXx
It's a crap shoot for me when it comes to this but I'm actually going to predict he clears.
dlbalr
He cleared and was sent to St. John's. That frees up a little bit of cap space for the Habs while giving them an actual competent call-up option.
Guest Stogey24
Definitely not a bad thing having Redmond in St. John's. Redmond wasn't great, but there were games where I thought he played decent, yet he'd be strapped to the bench the entire third. Therrien didn't like him. He wasn't following the game plan. Nesterov plays the same way too though. Likes to pinch a little more than he should and at questionable times.
