Chris
Shaw and Lehkonen were really good, I thought Price was going to have to shoot to get a win

Price gets hurt we are dead, maybe byron could take the high hard one while Carey is still in the dressing room. Low fives are ok but the guy who started that seems to be missing from the roster. did you see the Price interview just now? Price was asked about it...he said he was happy Byron made up for it...he's a good natured guy

Basically, I don't like low IQ players and I would put Beaulieu in that category. He has the skill to be a quality top four player but his head is holding him back (and I don't think it's going to change either). There are bad plays and there are stupid plays. Both Beaulieu and Petry have struggled as of late but I'd put a lot of Petry's mistakes in the first category (he's prone to a panicked decision in particular) and quite a few of Beaulieu's in the second one. Short-term, I think Markov has to be tried there even though that's far from ideal on a long-term basis. He's not quick by any stretch but he's smart and that should take some of the pressure off of Weber. The question then becomes how to manage his special teams minutes to avoid him playing 22+ minutes a game. Ya, true for sure.

That's the way it seemed to me for sure. Was it Todd the other day who recommended we all take a deep breath and just relax a wee bit. We're going to be fine. I kinda believe it. This pairing is inevitable i think...paring Markov and Weber is also coming up more and more in social media and radio talk shows (for what its worth) ...the only concern is where do you play emelin? I believe this has been the issue even under MT. Its not about who do you pair with Weber, but rather who do you pair with emelin...I think this is why Julien hasn't made a change yet. Who DO you pair with Emelin... Naive I suppose, but I really thought we'd be scarey in a nice way on D by now.

Commandant
Emelin and Petry wasn't bad IIRC I'm really not sure on Markov- Weber though. I'd rather go out and get someone.

Commandant
Byron is on the 2nd line cause neither Galchenyuk or Gallagher are really good in their own end.

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Emelin was bad. I think he is getting exposed now, starting to crack from heavy usage. Petry remains useful but inconsustent. Markov was brilliant in OT. Weber was superb all game. Hopefully he can sustain that going forward into the playoffs. An absolute humdinger of a game. I haven't seen that kind of quick transition from the Habs in some time...that's more like it.
