We need GOALS. I have mad love for gritty players,  but they're not putting the puck in the net.

Montreal was 30th in the league in goals for, in the month of February.

Why would I be satisfied with Flippula? He has 7 goals. I don't care about his assists. They'll dry up if he comes to this team

I think we all agree that if this is all MB does, it's inadequate.

If this all M.B does. I've lost hope

But, I would guess this is likely all he will do, other than maybe trade away a fringe player for a pick.

Agreed! I like the upgrades to the bottom lines/pairings, but MB needs to add a top 6 F and top 4 d!!

I have to say that i'm a little iffy on this move! I like the trade for King, but Ott?! I'm not convinced!

Sure he is, a 4th liner, good at faceoffs and checking and agitating. He is better than DD, Andreghetto and McCarron on the 4th line. He'll do his job just fine,

No he's not

He's a defensive liability, who doesn't score.

Not an NHL player.

CF - 44.92%
FF - 45.25%
xGF - 37.02%
Scoring Chance Percentage - 31.6%

Massive liability.

DD wasn't an NHL player.

He was still better than Steve Ott, which isn't supporting DD; its showing how bad Ott is.

31.6% scoring chance percentage is George Parros/Douglas Murray level.

Ott is finished.

Though a different player now I have great memories of him when I was growing up and would attend Spitfires games at the Old Windsor Barn. He was magic back in his OHL days and had great chemistry with Jason Spezza. It was fun hockey back then. So still to this day I'm an Ott fan but just don't feel he has enough left in the tank to help the Habs unfortunately. Hope he proves me wrong.

Uggg Fancy Stats! Damn you...but if he sucks am sure he will see time in press box and pretty low risk signing isn't it?
