dlbalr
The Habs have announced their roster for rookie camp and the tournament in Toronto (Sept. 8th and 9th). There aren't really any big surprises or notable invitees as most of the invites were there back in July and are basically in an extended tryout for a depth spot with Laval. Goalies (2) Michael McNiven Antoine Samuel (invite) Defence (8) Simon Bourque Josh Brook Cale Fleury Noah Juulsen Stefan Leblanc (AHL deal) Victor Mete Jarret Tyszka Scott Walford Forwards (13) Jeremiah Addison Alexandre Alain (invite) Daniel Audette Will Bitten Jordan Boucher (invite) Thomas Ebbing (AHL deal) Maxime Fortier (invite) Alexandre Goulet (invite) James McEwan (invite) Niki Petti (AHL deal) Michael Pezzetta Martin Reway (expected to play) Antoine Waked

dlbalr
Someone was asking about updated heights/weights earlier. Here's the roster showing that information:
Toronthab
With Bill C16, Canadians .. including the Canadiens.. are no longer male of female but are "how they present", so how can we know if they need special washrooms or not? And as we've eliminated biology legally, can we still go after the best man for the job? Inquiring minds... hmmm...

Link67
Reeeeeaallly looking forward to see how Reway looks, if he looks pretty close to rehabilitated, I am going to be pretty excited about how his season plays out.
zumpano21
Should have gotten to TO a day earlier for TIFF. Am also super intrigued a la Reway.

dlbalr
McNiven gets the start tonight against the Leafs. Scott Walford, a third rounder from June, won't play.

Agreed, anyone with such a subscription should be banned from the site, and preferably drawn and quartered in the public square while we're at it

Trizzak
I see the rookies have the Habs PP strategies down pat already I've noticed Mete more than Juulsen, but that doesn't really tell the whole story when it comes to defensemen. dlbalr
I'm listening to the radio feed in the background while I get some writing done...boy is Todd Crocker (aka, Mr Squeaky) in midseason form calling the play-by-play on this one. There are some voices made for sports commentary, his voice is not one of them.

They are getting caught droning on with long, boring stories while exciting action happens.

dlbalr
The Habs can't even get through the first rookie preseason game without an injury. Josh Brook (upper body) is done for the night. After the Leafs scored two in the second, Bitten ties it up early in the third.

Bitten gets a breakaway and neither acknowledges it until the puck is in the net. Were they drugged before broadcast?
