JoeLassister
I'm at work so I'm stealing parts of Brian's template and the lines from HFboards After dropping the first 2 preseason games, Montreal will look to get in the win column on Thursday as they host the Devils. Commandant
Notes i see immediately 1) Jerabek is being given big responsibility and opportunity. That pair will likely face the Devils line with Taylor Hall. 2) Poor Byron. 3) Price going in back to backs (i know he's playing half the game) this early in pre-season... oof. 4) DLR at C, and McC at RW is notable. Guest Stogey24
Carr was solid last game
nihilz
I like to see this.. Byron Danault Gallagher Galchenyuk Audette Scherbak Carr JDLR McCarron Marty Mitch Waked This is definitely Jerabek's opportunity to create some distance between himself and the competition. ( Davidson, Morrow, Gelinas & Streit.)

Ok, but... who else is he going to play with on tonight's roster? Is he better off with De La Rose and Waked?
nihilz
Galchenyuk is lost! It's madness. Waked looks solid. Much better than Martinsen. Jerabek is impressing me.

Byron - Mitchell/Holland - Shaw ... seems to be the plan.
dlbalr
I also like what I've seen from Waked so far (including the first preseason game). I don't think there's a lot of offensive upside in his game but if he plays with that type of energy, he'll have some success.
Commandant
Morrow had a good first game. Today we are seeing why he's an AHLer
Commandant
Thats a cannon of a shot for Gelinas, too bad he doesn't have any other skills.

Guest Stogey24
Where's the structure on that power play?

I'm really surprised they had one that long - the call on Rooney was iffy and then a bench minor on top of that.

Gallagher was leading a 5 on 2, but he slowed down to set up the powerplay. A little less structure and adherence to the system would have gone a long way there. JoeLassister
I was at the game again tonight. Now, as opposed to yesterday, this one was a snoozer.

He did hit the net on at least 2 good shots from the point vs Washington.
