dlbalr
After struggling a bit on the road, the Rocket (4-2-1) begin a home-and-home set with Rochester (2-3-0) on Wednesday with the second half coming on Friday. Jeremy Gregoire returned to practice but won't be available for Wednesday's contest at the very least. Lines are based on +/- combos from their last game plus some guesses. Baptiste - Porter - Moses Smith - Criscuolo - Fasching Malone - Gill - Cornel Ross - Blackwell - Krause Percy - Nelson Guhle - Goers MacWilliam - Allen Ullmark Terry - Holland - Froese Carr - Audette - Reway Deslauriers - Petti - Baun Veilleux - Boucher - Waked Taormina - Parisi Gelinas - Lernout Bourque - Leblanc Fucale Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST on Wednesday and 7:05 PM on Friday. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. There's no English feed for Laval, ESPN Rochester has the call for the Amerks.
dlbalr
It's shaping up to be another high-scoring game tonight as it's tied at 2-2, still in the first. Deslauriers and Terry have the goals for Laval; Sahir Gill (who spent time with the Hamilton Bulldogs a few years back) has a shorthanded marker for Rochester. dlbalr
Well, the second period wound up having a lot less scoring as only Nicholas Baptiste managed to score, giving Rochester the lead heading into the 3rd. Shots are 25-16 Laval.

DON
And 5-2 is final. https://theahl.com/stats/game-summary/1017213 Laval has given up the most goals 32; but, also has scored the most 32.
dlbalr
The second half of the home-and-home goes tonight. Chris Terry made the trip which is an encouraging sign while I imagine Broll will be in for Reway who has taken a leave of absence from the team to ponder his future. Nicolas Deslauriers will dress as a defenceman (while Bourque sits again) while Gelinas is pegged to be the veteran scratch. (If Terry can't go though, I imagine Deslauriers would move back up front.) Gregoire is with the team but isn't expected to play.

Try the ECHL then, it's a slower pace. He still gets the same salary in either spot. If he winds up going back overseas, it'll be fair to speculate if he'll bother coming back. Lines for tonight: Terry-Audette-Carr Holland-Froese-Baun Boucher-Petti-Waked Broll-Ebbing-Veilleux Taormina-Lernout Jerabek-Parisi Deslauriers-LeBlanc

dlbalr
I listened to part of the pregame show and from what I could make out from Lefebvre (it was in French so I didn't pick up a lot), it sounded like he was trying to come up with a creative way to say that Reway's homesick on top of his struggles keeping up. Leblanc and Holland have goals for Laval, 2-0 good guys in the 2nd.

dlbalr
Laval took their foot off the pedal and it has come back to bite them as Nick Baptiste has scored twice to tie it up in the dying seconds.
