dlbalr
The Habs are playing on a Sunday which can only mean one thing, it's time for another mind-numbing thrilling Rogers Hometown Hokey Hockey featuring musical artists no one has ever heard of, random former players to reminisce about the good old days, and two young hockey players to pick their favourite players as the three stars regardless of what actually happened in the game. All of this stupidity excitement comes in lieu of discussion about the actual game at hand as it will be ignored during the pregame and intermission. It's the new Canadian tradition...at least that's what Sportsnet keeps telling us it is. Artturi Lehkonen - Jonathan Drouin - Alex Galchenyuk Max Pacioretty - Phillip Danault - Andrew Shaw Paul Byron - Tomas Plekanec - Brendan Gallagher Jacob de la Rose - Michael McCarron - Torrey Mitchell Victor Mete - Shea Weber Karl Alzner - Jordie Benn Joe Morrow - Jeff Petry Charlie Lindgren Alex DeBrincat - Jonathan Toews - Richard Panik Brandon Saad - Nick Schmaltz - Patrick Kane Patrick Sharp - Artem Anisimov - John Hayden Lance Bouma - Tommy Wingels - Ryan Hartman Duncan Keith - Cody Franson Jan Rutta - Brent Seabrook Michal Kempny - Connor Murphy Corey Crawford

The thing I look forward to the most when I sit down to watch an NHL hockey game is the story of an old, local arena no NHL player has actually been to in a town that can only be found on a map by the 2000 people that live there! FOR SHAME, DLBALR!

Toronthab
I especially liked the story of the gun totin' older woman who couldn't make a living playing hockey. That's hockey... or is it postmodernism...
Guest Stogey24
Lindgren looks good. Huge save there Drouin does not looks Galchenyuk's way with the puck. Maybe looking too much into it, but just something I've noticed

dlbalr
A really dumb penalty from Drouin to end the period, especially with how bad the penalty kill has been.

I thought the Habs were absolutely awful for most of that period. The power plays were about the only time they had control of the puck for more than a few seconds. Lindgren is keeping them in it. Toronthab
Wouldn't it be nice if Galchenyuk got to really like some of the sparkle of playing with dazzling Drouin and got into a magic mood that put him back into the game.
