Galchenyuk scored, but his celebration was a bit too hyped for a 4-1 game... better bench him.

That's a good point.  If ever there was a time to start the backup goalie, it was against a "weaker" visitor.  Unfortunately Price looked bad on every one of those 4 goals and directly caused one of them by mishandling the puck at a point in the game when there was still a chance for his team to get back in to the game.  What's next, a goal by Brandon Davidson ??

I am not looking forward to the upcoming 7 game road trip, not to mention the next game versus NJ.

I don't even think its tonight

The damage for this was done last week.

5 games in 8 days and price started them all.

it adds up and now he's feeling it.   One of the Detroit games was when to do it.

i hope to see either Lindgren or Niemi get a game or two on the road as well..

I don't think anyone is actively rooting against Niemi...

At best there are people who don't believe in him.

Some people really like Montoya as well and might not want Niemi to show well, but I agree.

Meh, if Montoya was healthy, I'd trade him to one of those teams who really need a backup right now (Pitt and Florida).

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Julien did that.

I like Galchenyuk, but if I were him and I was still a Hab before turning UFA, I would leave the Habs for another team.

I've been really underwhelmed by him. I still think he's trying to score dope when he's out there.

Could it be a linguistic problem?

"Lead".. as in moving forward..

Or "lead"... as in lead pipe.

Just lookin' for an answer here..

I agree if he was turning UFA this summer.

Fortunately for us he's got 3 years on that contract.  A lot can change in that time.

That said, I expect him traded before we ever get that far.

With Brossoit being as bad as he has been, the Habs still have a slight chance but they'll need an early one to stay in it.

This streaky play is getting frustrating. To many blowouts this year.

It's not like our name is.."mighty ducks.." or something absurd like that...

Is there a mixed league we could play in.. you know.. no checking.. no 'lifters"!

Let's see if we can at least hold them to one goal on this power play!

Nice to see Carr's point streak continue at least as he got an assist on the Danault goal.
