Game #39 Pre-game trivia notes by Rusche

http://intentionaloffside.com/?p=45541

27th place Habs vs tied 24th place Cats. With a win and some help, Habs could jump to 24th.

Still would be close to bottom of standings; but it is something to pull for I guess (or against depending on current POV)

Not that shuffling bottom of roster will help; but Lernout and  Deslauriers sit and Schlemko and Froese are in.

Go Habs Go

I think the time might be coming, to stop seeing Gallagher on the 3rd line and bring his energy and production up to the top line where it seems in desperate need. We all know Plekanec isn't the reason he is producing the way he is, but maybe Gallagher can help Drouin and Galchenyuk.

RELEASE THE GALLAGHER!

Safe bet 'Super Troopers' is much more entertaining than this game will be.

But, still would love to see Gallagher get a bunch of goals and keep building on his career year.

Strong period from the Habs - which, needless to say, failed to yield any goals.

Galy and Drouin look like they might have some chemistry.

Jerabek had what might be one of his best periods. A lot of quiet, strong plays.

Early impressions so far..

- Top 3 lines are involved, creating some chances out there, it looks promising atleast.

- Price looks sharp again tonight, hopefully his team can lend some support for once.

- Morrow looks like an anxiety riddled bafoon as usual as soon as the puck is near him in our zone. Jerabek looks like an All-Star next to him. With that said though, Jerabek does look damn good lately and in my books is making a strong claim for most suitable partner for Weber upon his return.

Jerabek had several screw ups in that period. That pairing scary!

But 26 shots was good action wise.

Ha ha, I missed the first third or so, so perhaps I missed a few boners.

Agree that it was quality hockey, surprisingly.

Price is such a machine. The rest of the team disgraces itself by comparison.

The only blunders I saw were from Morrow, multiple times. Aside from whiffing on a pass early in the game, Jerabek has been playin head up, smart, quick play hockey the whole period.

Phew, DON had me wondering about my viewing acumen for a second.

Morrow seems to be a POS, pure and simple. Just another crap depth player in a crap organization.

Morrow exceeded my expectations this season so I haven’t been hard on him like others. Definitely a depth player butbindisnt exs Cut him to surpass some of our other depth players defensemen, and I think he did.

Gallagher, Carr, Galy, and Drouin are playing well IMHO.

Pacioretty, a complete lump of panda excrement. Atrocious in every way.
