Fresh off another tough loss to the team they need to catch to get back into the playoffs, the Rocket (15-17-7) will look to get back into the win column tonight as they host Hartford (15-17-6).  Unfortunately, they'll have to do so with Charlie Lindgren (flu) and top scorer Chris Terry (lower-body injury).

Laval actually had a pretty nice first period.  Cracknell had a highlight-reel goal on the first shift of the game to get things going.  Gelinas added a PPG on a two-man advantage (it took them 1:55 to get one but they got one) and then Cracknell snapped one home off a faceoff shorthanded.  3-0 Laval after 1.

4-2 Laval after 2 after Fucale let in a pair of ugly goals - one from behind the net and a dribbler through the wickets.  He also has had two get behind him that forwards (Scherbak and Eisenschmid) stopped from going in while nearly putting another one in himself while trying to find the rebound following a sprawling save.

Taormina scored a PPG late in the period on a nice feed from Scherbak.  Juulsen has thrown a couple of huge hits so far as well.
