DON
*This will be game #556 for #31, which will tie Plante for most played as a Hab goalie! 41-28-9 vs 28-38-12 Come on Byron & Galchenyuk, 20g mark would be another positive, on a team that has scored less than all but Sabres. Habs sitting 28th, but I got a feeling they will play well and beat New Jersey.

Quite something, eh? He has had a complex but distinguished career so far, one of the few guys who actually stands comparison to past greats who wore the . I'll bet, though, that he has the worst playoff wins-to-games-played ratio of long-running Habs goalie in history. (I haven't run the math, but...) dlbalr
Hudon's hurt so Rychel will take his place in the lineup. Reilly is back in the lineup, replacing the Schlem-ster.

Sure - I was just looking for a different way to say Schlemko is sitting the second half of a back-to-back. I haven't broken the '-ster' line out for a couple of years since Scrivens so why not now? DON
Couple Reusch notes: Galchenyuk 15pts in 15gms vs Devils. Galchenyuk 15pts in last 16games (at wing) Gallagher 3rd in NHL in shot attempts/

alfredoh2009
Missing the game driving back from Montreal to Ottawa: 1) is McCarron playing? If so is he able to keep up? 2) Does Rychel show any upside? 3) is Rielly having a decent game?

dlbalr
I'm doing the 3 Stars tonight and am at a loss for what to write for that 2nd period - there was absolutely nothing of interest to document from that middle frame (and writing that just seems too lazy). Trizzak
Juulsen has drawn the assignment of containing Taylor Hall tonight. Hall doesn't have a shot yet.

How amazing would it be for the Habs to have a generational player. Haven’t had one in so long. Kovalev was close but not quite. Yeah we’ve had the goalies but no player of that level since Robinson? Lafleur?
Trizzak
Was Price banging his stick to let his teammates know the penalty was ending? I can't remember, and it kinda matters.
