Alzner telegraphed that shitty pass so much I actually had time to say "oh nooo" before it reached the Senators' player's stick.

It's crazy how bad he is. How was he a top 4 for so long in Washington?

Ok, that's two games in a row that Kotkaniemi has screwed up on a 2-on-1; Julien needs to pull him aside and tell him that if he doesn't shoot on the next one, he's getting benched.

I thought he almost made a nice play. Kotkaniemi has great little soft touches, and the d man managed to catch the pass with his leg.

Still, a shot could have been the right choice there for sure.

I don't see how Alzner can stay in this line up. You can see his confidence is shook, but i mean all he does is chip off the glass. The transition game is non existent with him on the ice.

100%. He’s so shaken up out there, like a nervous rookie.

In his defence, it's hard to blame him.  He was scratched for a bunch of games and knows any little mistake is probably sending him back to the press box.  It's hard to do well knowing any little screw up is going to get magnified.

For sure, I feel for the guy. I don’t dislike Alzner whatsoever. I just think he’s had his day.
