Chris
Hopefully they will keep playing well. One thing for sure, win or lose they are more entertaining to watch than last years bunch. Still not sure what to think, they are winning but i wanted (expected) a top 3 pick.

dlbalr
Nice start for the Habs with the Domi goal and then a good showing on the PP but Buffalo got a lot better as the period went on. Niemi has been sharp so far.
tomh009
Shots 13:9 for Buffalo after the first, but I was pretty happy with the team's play: I don't think the shot totals reflect the scoring chances. And Domi and Lehkonen combined for another goal to give us the 1-0 advantage. Niemi made some solid saves. A good start, and at least it's not the dreaded two-goal lead. tomh009
Ouch. Not much support for Niemi on that one.
habscout
Juulsen got caught in the neutral zone to lead to that ugly Sabres goal.

tomh009
Good eye to spot the loose puck next to the net, and great control to quickly wrap around and tuck it in. And that was made possible by Kotkaniemi's hustle to get to the puck behind the net.
Trizzak
I've never understood the insistence of defensemen to push players into their own goalie.
Chris
Might have been the only habs body check all night Too many turnovers and not using there speed. Lucky to be tied
dlbalr
Rough period all around. It's good to see Gallagher back after taking a shot off the hand. Too bad he couldn't get back before Shaw took his dumb penalty.

I think its more as soon as the player feels the cross check on there back they fall right on the goaltender. They make no attempt to avoid the goaltender. But knowing that the opposing forward will likely do that, pushing or cross-checking them in the direction of the goalie is just a dumb thing to do.
