Woah ... had to go do a work conference call so I missed all the fun in the third! :(  Very happy to see they turned it around, though.

Still mystified how we had three so completely different periods in this game.

Were those last two goals a record? Two seconds apart? Probably at least ties a record, I can’t imagine there have been two goals scored 1 second apart.

Entertaining third period, I missed the first two.

Sets a record for 2 fastest goals by the same team.

Ties a record for 2 fastest goals in a game (either team)

If that two second mark holds up it would be the fastest two goals (one team) in NHL history. I'm sure they will scrutinize to see if the clock started and when it went in etc. It was previously 3 seconds.

Islanders also tied the then NHL record of 3 seconds in 2016.

Who are these misfits and what did they do to the Montreal Canadiens?????

All kidding aside those last 8 minutes were the most exciting 8 minutes of hockey i have seen in years.  They play hard, they are relentless and they play with jam.

Biggest tell all sign?  When Price skated to the bench to congratulate Jesperi for his first goal.  That action speaks volumes about the cohesiveness of the group.

I might be shooting my load a little early but we may be witnessing something special..

OK, so is the third period online anywhere so that I can watch it tomorrow?

I don't know about that  (probably), but you can always listen to the play by play on tsn690. They make available all games and post-games

Good golly, another entertaining game.

Poor Juulsen was a -3, but dont think i would sit him for Alzner...ever.

Kotkaniemi now tied for 9th in rookie scoring.

Domi and Tatar are 1 -2 in scoring, seem to be great pick ups so far.

Habs sit 7th in league, but just 2 pts up on 16th place...still very early.

Tampa should be another tough game tomorrow.
