Increase minutes tonight for kotkaniemi? I can’t imagine they roll 4 lines tonight with chaput (winger) at C. Hudon playing Center ice and chaput on left seems more ideal.

Chaput has played more centre at the NHL level than Hudon has.

He played centre in Columbus in 2013-14 and 2014-15 and with the Canucks (at least part of the time) in 2016-17.

Petry and Schlemko,

Not sure what they were doing there.

Standing around watching the puck

They did that for the 2nd and 3rd goals against.  Both are decent skaters but could not cover their man nor anticipate wel enough.

I can’t stress how badly this team needs someone who can actually play defense and rally his guys like Weber can. It’s actually scary how quickly that core can unravel.

Poor Price you can tell he’s getting tired of all the half ass coverages.

They should have pulled Price after the 4th goal.

Not because the goals are his fault, but to not subject him to the torture that is the defensive coverage any more tonight.

Price has said in the past that the embarrassment of the skate to the bench after getting yanked really bothers him.  As a result, a lot of the times he has been pulled is at the intermission.  I suspect that will be the case here as Niemi should get the 3rd (especially since he's starting on Friday in all likelihood).

Good God!

Another game where looks like Petry and 5 borderline NHL d-men in front of Price.

Benn is coughing up puck, deflecting shots on and whacking Price with stick.

Oulette is just horrible.
