I get they're tired, but this team is starting to show their true colours.

They look identical to the 2017-2018  Hans.

They're better than that. But they're probably not as good as the team that started the season. They're likely settling back to their actual level, i.e., an average, bubble team at best.

One good thing tonight was a total BS call against Kreijic at the end there. Except that just means a Habs PP...oh well.

They're struggling, sure. But it's still not a repeat of last year.

Nice to see Jose Theodore being interviewed. It's kind of a weird feeling seeing guys I cheered for as an adult being trotted out as retired 'legends.' Always liked Theo, though, even though his game inexplicably and excruciatingly collapsed in mid-career.

No goal...I figured. Hopefully they can draw energy from thid

I could not tell if the whistle blew before the puck went in, but obviously if it did not then that goal should count.  Julien should have used a coach's challenge.

It didn't go in until contact with Habs player pushed Rask's leg across...no-goal was the right call.

Drouin suddenly in beast mode

And...TATAAAAAAAAAARRR

A Tatar goal means it's time to update the ol' trade tracker:

Tatar:  10g, 9a

Patioready:  6g, 3a

Drouin goes from hero to goat in about 5 minutes

Just when I was reconsidering my irritation with him

I am convinced that his cons will always balance out his pros...that his low IQ will always temper his talents, and that Steve Yzerman knew it when he made that trade.

To be fair, he was a beast in the final 20 EXCEPT for that idiotic, game-ruining penalty. Made a great pass in the final minute. But I hear ya. He still thinks he's a junior star.

13 hits?  Probably a good way to stay in the line-up!

Julien seemed to be anoyed when asked if the hits were a positive.

he commented something like: "yeah, he seemed to think that's how he would stay in the line up; but we want to see the Hudon of earlier in the season when he was a scoring threat"
