dlbalr
After picking up three of four points against Syracuse, the Rocket (11-14-4) will look to try to get out of the basement of the division as they host the high-scoring Marlies (13-10-5) for a pair of games. Toronto will be without recently-acquired winger Morgan Klimchuk who was suspended for three games for an incident earlier this week. They may also be without Calle Rosen and Andreas Borgman who were injured on Wednesday as well as Rasmus Sandin (WJC) and Timothy Liljegren (injured). (Lines are based on last game's +/- data and some guesses with the injuries) Timashov - Bracco - Mueller Grundstrom - Jooris - Gagner Marchment - Brooks - Moore Engvall - Greening - Sestito Jardine - LoVerde Leblanc - Corrado Oleksy - Subban Kaskisuo (Lines are from last game with a guess on D with Juulsen down and Mete gone) Belzile - McCarron - Alain Jevpalovs - Evans - Froese Shinkaruk - Vejdemo - Grenier Audette - Martineau Alzner - Juulsen Ouellet - Fleury Sklenicka - Lernout Lamarche McNiven Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST on Friday and 1:00 PM EST on Saturday. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French for both games while TSN 690 has Friday's game in English. Saturday's game can also be seen on RDS.
dlbalr
Despres is back in for this one - it wouldn't be shocking if this was his last game considering the Spengler Cup starts on Wednesday. 1-1 after 40 minutes. McCarron has the goal for Laval.

Since they demoted him to Brampton (and then had to bring him back days later when Lindgren was hurt), he has been a lot better. On the season as a whole, he hasn't been great. Lindgren's due back soon by the sounds of things so it will be interesting to see what happens with him then.
