They had the bad giveaway that led to the 2 on 0 in the first period that price saved. They also got absolutely caved in possession wise... with just 31% at 5 on 5. That said, these bad games are rare from them as they were great against colorado. Were they matched up against Boston's top line last night? Because that will cave most defensemens' possession stats.

It seemed to me it was not all on Weber and Mete? just asking Yes, possession is on all five players on the ice. That said, they were the worst pair possession wise. Mete took a bad penalty behind the net. The 2 on 0 that Price saved early in the game was on a bad play by both defencemen. There were other opportunities they had to get the puck out and didn't. It was a rough night for the two of them. I'm not worried long term, rough nights will happen for every player. But this was a rough night for the two of them. Especially when you consider how well they shut down the McKinnon line during the previous game.
JoeLassister
Man... that game was really great to watch. I always enjoy Boston vs Habs, but this one had some playoffs flavor all over it.

Helmethead
Was at the game last night. The fight definitely balanced the momentum cause Montreal was awol before that. There’s something about leaving the Garden victorious that warms my heart.

I hate the Bs, but I also have a weird sense of gratitude to them because of all the wonderful hockey this rivalry has given us.
