dlbalr
With the All-Star break having come and gone, Laval (19-19-7) will look to make up some ground on the final playoff spot in the division as they take on fourth-seeded Toronto (22-16-6). dlbalr
Lindgren has stolen Laval a point as it remains 0-0 heading to OT. Getting the extra point is critical here with Toronto being the team they have to chase down for a playoff spot.

It's a no-go on the extra point as Audette took an early penalty, giving the Marlies a power play and Chris Mueller picked up the winner. Still, a stellar night from Lindgren who made 36 saves in the losing effort (Laval had all of 15).

Watch your pennies and your dollars will look after themselves. This may be MB's FATAL FLAW. He don't give a damn about his underlings! dlbalr
New-look lines for today: Connor LaCouvee gets the start as they don't want to play Lindgren back-to-back since he's coming off of injury.
DON
Evans is back, good.
dlbalr
The good news is that Laval actually decided to show up today. The bad news, they didn't score again. Sam Gagner's goal barely two minutes in wound up being the difference maker; the Marlies picked up a couple of empty-netters to win 3-0. LaCouvee had another pretty good game. He's up to a .927 SV% with Laval (and a 1.98 GAA) - they're going to have a tough time justifying cutting him but it's hard to keep three goalies around. https://theahl.com/stats/game-summary/1019046
