Trizzak
Might need someone else to post lines and news today as I am working til 5. Talk around Toronto is this is a big game. Fans believe this is a playoff preview. Personally I believe the Habs should win this game and start Toronto's slide out of the playoffs entirely, but hey, I'm a romantic. 1

DON
As per NHL.com; This game is of "Primordial Importance". Danault's line 17pts in last 2 games 9 Habs 10 or more goals (& Weber with 9). Will Kotkaniemi score for 5th straight game?
zumpano21
Looking for a big game from Domi. Bring the work boots. Lace’em tight.

I think the big question is whether they will have the system working against the Leafs, with the forwards skating back hard to relieve pressure on the D. It worked against the Jets, it should work against the Leafs. Now let's see whether I can stream this game on Air Canada ...

tomh009
51 -- what a great number, for the number of seconds it takes to score against the Leafs!
zumpano21
We’re pushing hard. Can’t get frustrated if we don’t tally another one.
Trizzak
If Armia had scored to make it 2 - 0, how different is the rest of this game? Instead the Leafs get 2 quick ones and the Habs are chasing.
tomh009
A good SH chance by Lehkonen ... Toronto PP not so impressive.
brobin
Keep it going boys... those goals by the leafs were a bit lucky... good time for a PP goal.
Trizzak
I know it sounds crazy, but the Habs powerplay actually cures cancer. It gives cancer HIV.
brobin
The pp sure kills their momentum.
Toronthab
OK... so say we play well and are actually fun to watch... would it be considered poor sportsmanship if we dragged Bergevin behind the 105 Sherbrooke bus anyway?
tomh009
Not a bad period at all against one of the "big four". We're down by one but it could easily be up by one but for a few bounces. Now, about the four-minute PP ...

We're tied at two approaching the end of the second. Whatever the final result, I have to say that the Habs look like they belong in this game. This is not a bottom-feeder team playing the elite squad, it's a fight among (rough) equals. Awesome. And doubly awesome when I consider my expectations in August/September.
tomh009
Crap. Another PP for us.
sbhatt
I swear, if this PP ever gets to even an average level of competency...
tomh009
It wasn't quite as pathetic as the four-minute one. At least they got this one set up a few times. End result was the same, though.
Trizzak
Friedman mentioned that Hudon as a late scratch could mean something is about to happen but he didn't list any teams specifically, only that the Habs were looking for a mid-round pick for him, and they'd like to get Weise on the Habs roster sooner rather than later.
