Who do the Habs take in the 2019 draft?

Based on the picks or the fact they're swapping down and/or out?  (They did a lot of these pick swaps last year so that part doesn't surprise me.)

Little bit of both.

They traded down 14 spots out of the 2nd round to add a fourth 5th round pick, so they either have sleeper picks they believe in or were planning on flipping some late picks for 2020 picks. Turns out it's the latter, but they trade with teams who are likely going to finish better next year than the draft position you're giving up this year, so the Habs trade to pick worse this draft so they can trade to pick in a worse position next draft?

NHL's draft tracker has him at 5'11", 173 lbs?

Alberta Midget AAA d-man, but 6'6" 201lbs, some western canadian scout 'sleeper' i assume.

I guess we'll see if Timmins clarifies in his press scrum.

Like Fletch- 6'9" if include the hair.

With LaCouvee re-signing with Laval, that basically put an end to Harvey getting another look with the Habs.  Marleau was a support player with Rouyn-Noranda but doesn't appear to be much of a prospect of consequence.

Edit: Other MTL invites:

Seems like we prioritized picks next year when we're the host, even if the picks are lower.  And folks don't think politics plays a role when the Habs host a draft?

When have four 5th round picks and limited # of contracts, it is simply smart to basically delay the picks a year instead of drafting all 12 kids this year. What does that have to do with politics?

(did same last year)
