The final homestand of the season kicks off on Wednesday as Laval hosts Cleveland in the first of a pair of games.

After losing Alain and Grenier to injuries last game, now Evans is hurt.

It's weird. Like, NHL practices are one thing. Getting pro experience traveling with the team is nice too. 

 

But if he ends up seeing time with the Habs during the playoffs, I'd feel better about him playing some games in the AHL first.

Hes up with the habs to burn a year off the elc (which was the enticement needed to sign him)

He can't.  Because he's on an NHL deal for this year, the usual post-deadline rules apply.  As he was not on the AHL roster (and recalled) after the trade deadline, he's ineligible to play in Laval this season.

Yes, but it also makes him ineligible for the AHL this season.
