This year’s team overperformed, that seems like concencus opinion around here. With thé lack of truly elite (game breaking talent) prospects (I do like our prospects but none are going to be elit

Yes 7 players had career years   Domi is young enough it could be seen as a breakthrough.  Maybe not 70, but can he do 65 again Gallagher is third in the NHL for xG at 5v5. Its his seco

Anyone have Yvonne’s number???

Anyone with any sort of good luck ritual, we need you to bring it out tonight. I'm talking Joe going to the game, spinning logos on here, lucky underwear, whatever it takes. I'm meeting up with a buddy of mine to watch because we have a great record together in big games.

I was thinking the exact same thing earlier today.

I'm really hoping for a tight, hard fought game, or a massive blowout win.

Okay so a perfect night would be:

New Jersey over Carolina

Detroit over Pittsburgh

Montreal over Washington

LOL New Jersey and Detroit...

Both NJ and Detroit have scored first and taken 1-0 leads. Now it's the Habs' turn ...

Well, it's clear that Washington has come to play tonight, something that Tampa was nice enough not to do.  That PPG was huge after the in-zone mistake that led to Eller's goal.

Pittsburgh's up 2-1 now.

I still can't get over the chance Tatar missed a few minutes ago!  Love the way Armia is playing tonight!

How we playing guys?

Craziest 7-8 minutes of hockey I've seen in a long time, in a good way. Back and forth, blistering speed, chances on both ends. Huge saves by Price, near goals by us. It's been nerve wracking but entertaining as hell!

It sounds like the caps are getting all the chances.

The beginning of the second wasn't great. Second half both teams were flying.
