All that time spent at the bench strategizing for that 4 on 3 powerplay, and Muller might as well have written, "Weber shoots" in crayon. 3 creative playmakers out there and the best this team can com

3 out of 4 points in those two tough road games to start the year.

Nice. Once goal game.  Leafs interference is getting bad.

Hutchinson starts for the Leafs tonight.

Spezza is scratched.

Am I the only one insulted that they choose this game for Hutchinson?  It's as if they think we don't pose an actual threat.

The habs need to score period, doesn't matter the goalie

They got 3g in game 1 and averaged 3g/gm last year, so my guess is 3g again, which likely wont be enough to win, but hope so.😟

They played back to back, starter normally takes game 1

I always thought the backup took the road game in these cases.  But yeh, score early, score often.

Babcock plays the backup in the 2nd game of back to backs regardless of opponent.

Just one of his quirks.

London kid playing his first game in Toronto. I'm sure lots of family/friends at this one.

Yep, apparently Suzuki needed six tickets for his family and Drouin paid for two of them when Suzuki realized how expensive they were lol.

The story of that period: 2 rookie mistakes (Fleury, Suzuki) lead to 2 goals against.

Very frustrating to see that too many men penalty.  That's 2 in as many games.  The next guy who comes off lazy on a line change should be bag skated at the next practice.

They had all summer to come up with a new PP strategy and the best they could come up with is to just take a too many men penalty if things aren't going well?

Rough period for Suzuki - his best play was turning it over in the offensive zone (as opposed to giving it away in the defensive end).  I don't know what game the Toronto statisticians are watching though as he officially hasn't been credited with a giveaway yet.  (Neither has Fleury who has turned it over a few times as well.)

The stupidity of this team...I swear.

That extra contact by Drouin to the goaltender's head...and now Tatar.  Two offensive zone penalties that made zero sense.
