I'm glad Weal is sitting. He seemed to have hype surrounding him, for being a PP specialist... He's a fringe nhl player

This team so desperately needs a legit  LHD. It's almost a joke, looking at that left side

Nice  to see Fleury back. He has made some mistakes, but this kid needs to play

LD a joke? I don't think so. Kulak is solid, Mete is still very young but improving. But the question is whether we can make do with three #2/#3 defencemen on the left side, without a real #1 LD, similar to how Julien has four fairly equal lines.

My bigger worry at the moment is actually on the other side -- when will Weber be back to his normal self? If he's back to rock-solid, those first two pairs are quite workable.

Weber is slow for this nhl... he will never be as effective as he was in the past. He is still a good defenseman but we need better D around him. He can’t dominate like he use to.

Agreed. But I do think he can be much better than the first six games showed.

Maybe time for Kulak to get some shifts with Weber?

Is early, am not too worried about Weber's play picking up

I said it in the spring and still seems adding a top pairing LH d-man is and should be priority #1 and should do nothing but help the PP as well. Commandant mentioned one of Minnisota's d-men might be good fit.

I said Zucker as a nice Winger to play with Domi, be a two way guy and be a PP shooter in the right circle not a D.

That said Brodin could be a decent add, but not sure what they would want for him.

Previous management tried to trade Zucker twice so I don't know what this management wants to do with him.

Yes, my mistake.

Armia's (PP2) and Suzuki's (seconds after the end of the PP) goals were quite similar, getting the puck across the net to the open forward at the left side of the goal. Might Julien finally have the power play working?
