dlbalr
Well, this is a bit of an expensive AHL fourth line... Peca returns from injury and McCarron returns from suspension (replacing Pezzetta and Lynch). Barber and Alzner are injured and are replaced by Weise and Sklenicka. dlbalr
1-1 in the 2nd period. Belzile has the goal from Varone and Sklenicka.
dlbalr
Now 2-2 early in the 3rd. Ouellet has a power play marker for Laval's second goal.
tomh009
Providence outshot Laval 28-14 through the first two periods, but Primeau has kept the Rocket in the game.
dlbalr
No scoring in the third or OT. Laval went 2/2 in the shootout while Providence was 1/3 and the Rocket get their third win over the Bruins this season. https://theahl.com/stats/game-center/1019735
DON
Sounds like Weise and Alzner may not even cut it at AHL level? Nice to hear Primeau solid again. https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/ahl-laval-rocket/2019/10/27/20934333/rocket-bruins-recap-and-highlights-primeau-shines-in-shootout-win-laval-canadiens-prospects-varone
dlbalr
Alzner was injured, not a healthy scratch. Weise clearly isn't playing up to his capabilities - he knows his chances of getting back to the NHL are slim (unless he's recalled as a 13th forward which is possible) so he hasn't done much.
