8 points from 2nd wildcard (Fla), doesnt seem impossible; but if need to go 21-8 to get in playoffs, way too much to ask for.

Anyways:gohabsgo:.

Wow I can't believe i am going to say this but I agree with Don 🤢

Their is no point of a playoff push , because theirs no chance we're making it. So what's better option play for a pick 15-20, or play for a pick 5-12?

Pro athletes don't think that way.... they are going to go on the ice trying to win.  Even if they are mathematically eliminated in the last week, they are still going to play hard.  They aren't thinking about the draft pick, they are thinking about competing... putting up stats and getting better contracts down the road.  They aren't built to play for a top 10 pick.

Just give the person with the least about of points from now to the end of the season a bonus. Gives them something to compete for 😹

Does that mean it's  "great minds think alike" or "fools seldom differ"   I won't answer that.  LOL

How many years are you willing to give it one more year?

Next year will be successful if they stay the course.

90 24 11 are a great line who can play against anyone

40 14 17 are a potentially great 2nd scoring line. Their chemistry is undeniable

62 13 92 could easily be another 2nd scoring line

25 15 41 provide excellent depth

Romonov and hopefully caufield developing.

I like this team as is when healthy with kovalchuk and Scandella in it.
