DON
I would expect Armia will feel more comfortable in 2nd game back.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
...and Weise gets what is probably his last point in the NHL, an assist. Nice goal by Cousins.

sbhatt
As for those arguing about where he'll fit when everyone is healthy, I'd be happy with Kovalchuk in, Byron out. Get what you can for Byron and ship him.

Get what you can for Byron and ship him. He fits exactly where he's playing. Put Gallagher with Domi - Suzuki then Drouin - Armia goes with KK and the fourth line will be Weal/Cousins - Poehling - Lehkonen I assume Thompson traded at the deadline. sbhatt
This was such a refreshing change. Usually when we outplay a team in the first, a multitude of shots only produces 1 goal. Tonight, 9 shots produced three goals. I asked a buddy "When was the last time we finished 3 times on 9 shots"? His answer: "Rocket Richard may well have scored two of them that night". dlbalr
I suppose having the lead after 40 minutes isn't too bad but yeesh, that was a rough period.

I was pushing for the tank and the lottery pick. But Kovalchuk looks like he's loving it in Montreal.
