We'll know in 25min... And if its Biron to Colorado the likely player going to Buffalo would be Alex Tanguay , this deal has been talked about since Roy retired... Maybe its a surprise deal? Satan traded? to habs? .... BTW : The Flames also called a news conference for the same time , so obviously the deal is between these 2 teams hmmm I also heard a rumour that its a 3 way deal , with Drury then going to Colorado , Reinprect to Buffalo... man this is big... lol Flames acquire Reinprecht and Warrener The Calgary Flames have acquired defenceman Rhett Warrener and centre Steven Reinprecht from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for forwards Chris Drury and Steve Begin. Only give rhino (who anyway couldn't play on 3rd line) for Biron, a goalie who can raelly replace Roy and play with Avs for years to come.. that's a huge deal for Avs and doesn't cost a lot. Habs77 Posted July 3, 2003 Author Share Posted July 3, 2003 Warrener Traded to Calgary for Drury The Buffalo Sabres have traded veteran defenseman Rhett Warrener to the Calgary Flames, along with Steve Reinprecht who the team acquired from Colorado, for Chris Drury and Steve Begin. Drury is certainly the top six forward the team has been looking for and with a glut of defenseman the Sabres were willing to deal Warrener. The details on the deal that sent Reinprecht to Buffalo before being shipped to Calgary are still unclear.
