Does anyone have a link to young players who were not resigned, so therefore are UFAs like our Descoteaux and Landry. I'll look around too, but if anyone has a link, that'd be great. We could guess who'll be signed next. The closest thing I've found is TSN's link http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=46015 Where, at the bottom, it has all UFAs. I'm looking for just the young guys, so no Craig Berube. I liked a few prospects, and a few that IMO we should sign (if we could) are Ivan Ciernik (LW-WAS), Sami Hulenius(F-CHI) and Kristian Kudroc (D-TB). Oh well, onya Bob! sakiqc Posted July 5, 2003 Share Posted July 5, 2003 Well, if Habs are in need of some players to fill Hamilton (since Edmonton will take back their players) here are some interesting UFA who are playing in the AHL and I would take with the Bulldogs next year: Francois Methot (BUF) 6' 185lbs - center I remember him when he was playing for Shawinigan. He was totally ruling the QMJHL (23 goals, 65 pts in the first 36 games) when a season ending injury costed his season (and possibly affected his whole career) Last season he had 53 pts in 58 AHL games with Rochester. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdispla....php3?pid=19315 Jason Botterill (BUF) 6'4 220lbs - lw Former Univ of Michigan player. Tough player and scores (105 pim, 37 goals in 64 games with Rochester last year). He played 17 games with BUF last year. First round pick by Dallas in 1994. Played less than 70 games in the NHL. Strickly an AHL player. Others: Lubos Bartecko, lw, ATL Nik Tselios, d, CAR Brian Swanson, c, EDM (former BDogs) Ray Schultz, d, NYI Joel Kwiatkowski, d, WAS --- I wondering about few UFA of NHL caliber for the Habs: Jan Hlavac, lw, CAR (maybe would cost higher than he's worthing, like 2,5M$+) Deron Quint, d, PHX Josh Green, lw, WAS (6'3, maybe playing on the 4th line) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have to agree with Aussie here , you guys thought my ranting on Delmore was bad? Dont even get me started on Quint , he is Delmore's less talented twin-brother or something...
