dlbalr
While there's no entry-level deal yet (that should come next week), Jesse Ylonen's team in the Finnish league has loaned him to Laval beginning next week. That should be a good boost for the Rocket and a chance for one of Montreal's better prospects to get some early AHL action. https://www.pelicans.fi/fi-fi/article/uutinen/jesse-ylonen-siirtyy-pohjois-amerikkaan/4174/

Prime Minister Koivu
I don't get to see many Rocket games but I hope I can find the time to see this guy play
alfredoh2009
Excellent news, if only Ikonen wasn't hurt: I would have loved to see him join the Rocket the same way !
Commandant
Given his injuries. Ikonen might be a lost cause and never get a contract. Missing 2/3 seasons after being drafted isn't good for development.
alfredoh2009
Who is less likely to get another chance Ikonen or Hudon

Even if he turns out to be a career AHLer, we need some talented fillers in the minors

John B
Adds good depth to the Rocket and the Habs get him used pro hockey in North America. Laval really needed some quality for their playoff push and it looks like they're getting it with Ylonen. Now if only they could add a couple more prospects of that caliber. dlbalr
The Habs still haven't officially announced anything but Ylonen was signed to an AHL deal yesterday per the AHL's Transactions page. https://theahl.com/stats/transactions/415/65?page=
Trizzak
I guess they saw how good he was at getting injured before even suiting up for the organization and thought, "This guy definitely belongs here!" Joking aside, this is an exciting prospect.

Neech
For some reason I had my hopes up about this guy about a year ago... can't recall why. Hopefully he's another Lekhonen.
