sakiqc
Well.. maybe Wilkes-Barre isn't that bad finally Jeff Barrett, president of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, has been named the 2002-03 recipient of the James C. Hendy Award, given annually to the Executive of the Year in the AHL. Under his direction and leadership, the Penguins have been built into one of the league's model franchises, with success on the ice and outstanding community visibility throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. In four short years, the Pens have hosted an AHL All-Star Classic and the Calder Cup Finals, and enter the 2003-04 season having sold out each of their last 100 home games at the First Union Arena at Casey Plaza. source : http://www.pittsburghpenguins.com/htmlindex.htm
