If a team wishes to sign a European prospect after today, they will have to pay financial compensation to that players' other team (from overseas). Other European prospects to sign with their NHL affiliates are Antti Miettinen and Mathias Tjarnqvist, who both have signed with Dallas, Niklas Kronvall who joined Detroit, and Jakub Koreis, who signed a 3 year deal with Phoenix. Also, Kirill Koltsov signed with Vancouver, although this occurred late last night and Denis Grebeshkov signed a contract with the L.A. Kings.
