Not at all... it's his team.. Also, it's a natural progression to go from player to 'administrator'.

I don't see Roy as a coach at all. I just don't see him behind a bench. He just want to be the king. He'll be the coach, the GM, the owner and their god..

Wouldn't be surprise he finds a way to dress up for a game

Kneejerk reaction but its not like Roy thinks he can coach the Coyotes. (Bonus, ya think Roy would EVER hire cujo, even at sub-$1M)?

Well...he knows what it takes to win.

But he's also known for being a bit of a prick.

I don't see him being that great at it.

I think this is gonna be the same as what Brett Hull was saying about Wayne Gretzky. Everyone knows what hes done so it's not like he has to earn the players respect. It's already there, they've seen what hes done in his career so its going to be easier for him to get the players to listen. The only thing I don't get is he said he'd never coach when he retired, he wanted to be a GM. Ah well, you can change your mind. I think Roy is going to do a great job as a head coach.
